Vacation!
Sol and I went with his family to Kansas over spring break to visit his grandparents. They have a great farm with like 40 horses. We left on March 17th and drove about 11 hours to get there. That probably was the worst part other than that the week was great. I didn't have to do anything all week except enjoy myself. His grandmother cooked all of the meals everyday and I do have to say they all were very good. We seriously had some sort of meat for every meal. We got to ride a lot of horses all week which at first scared me because I hadn't been on a horse for almost 9 years. It was so much fun. I learned so much from there trainer and it was so relaxing just to trott along on a horse and to my surprise pretty much all of the horses we very nice. I got very sore though after riding the first day. Even before we went to bed that night I could tell I would be hurting the next day. It was just a blast and it was so wonderful to get to know his family better. They are all so much fun and loving. I married into the greatest family. I am so grateful for that. I just wish the vacation hadn't ended so soon. I have been back for like what a little over a week and a half and I am ready for the next vacation.

A New Challenge
Just recently, I got a new calling at church. I am now the Beehive Advisor in my ward. Can I say how nervous I am?! This is probably the scariest calling that I have ever had and I really hope I do a good job. Sol and I have only been in the ward for about 6 months and so we don't know that many people and most people don't know who we are either. Though I know this will be hard and a challenge I am excited. I remember as a Beehive how amazing I thought my leaders were and what an impact they all made on my life. I just hope that I can do the same for my girls. I think the hardest thing for me is being a good example. What I mean by this is the fact that I commute to Salt Lake everyday, so there will be many times when I can't make to mutual. Which has been the case these past two weeks that I have had the calling. Another challenge for me will be the fact that I have to go to Girls Camp. I have to say that I was not that fond of girls camp when I was a young women, but hopefully it will be better since I will be a leader. I just hope that I can help these girls through probably one of the hardest times in their lives.

Succumbed to the Trend
I finally decided to get a blog. Hopefully this will let all of you know more about what is going on in mine and Sol's life. Sol is going to school at the U. He is majoring in math with an emphasis in statistics. After he graduates he wants to be an Actuary. For those of you that don't know what that is, it is pretty much just a statistician for insurance companies. He will be the one that decides what your rate will be for your insurance. Many people call actuaries the people you hate when you get insurance. He is doing really great in his classes and he is loving every minute of it. He even tries to explain what he's doing to me and of course it goes right over my head. (I'm really not a fan of math myself). He is so passionate about it and I am so proud of him. He has one more year left after this semester for his bachelors. After that I know life will get easier, at least I hope it does. Of course money is a little tight right now. I am working full-time at Deseret First Credit Union and I love it! The hard thing is, is that is our only source of income and I really don't make a ton. We are very lucky so have great friends and family to support us. Right now we are living in a house in Lehi free of rent!! I know sounds crazy, but Sol's friends parents let us live here because they didn't want the house just sitting vacant and they knew we were struggling for money. We are loving every minute of life even the hard times. Its great to always have someone there for you.
